The Louis Montagut Foundation (‘The Louis’) is envisioned as a dynamic foundation initially established to honor Louis’s enduring legacy.
Its mission is two fold:
The Foundation is structured for tax efficiency and best-practice governance, with oversight from a group of independent directors.
With pride and some emotion, we share a new scientific study Louis contributed to, published in EJNMMI Research. Louis worked on this research last summer with the UCLA team while a student at Concord Academy. The paper extends the poster he presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Genitourinary Cancers Symposium in San Francisco in February 2025, and both demonstrate the value of early diagnosis of recurrent prostate cancer with the appropriate tool, the PSMA PET scan.
On Louis's 18th birthday, over 40 volunteers, Concord Academy students and staff, along with our friends and family, joined Community Servings, a charity Louis was very involved with, to prepare over 2,000 meals for chronically and critically ill individuals and their families in the Boston area.

Together, we honor Louis’s memory by supporting research that brings hope and healing to others.

So here's my challenge to you: Keep saying yes. Yes to the uncomfortable and yes to the intimidating. Because the best parts of life have always come when you decided the answer was yes... Until then, keep running, keep learning, and keep asking questions..
